Not to be an “ORIGINAL ONLY” hipster, but this movie isn’t a horror. It’s a love story. The american preview makes the think they’re trying to make another sexualized, kinda creepy child-based horror like the grudge. The preview of the swedish one is a little scary seeming with her little smile when he opens the door, but the vampire element itself isn’t the scary part. The filming style puts you on edge. The almost extreme LACK of hollywood-ism and epic music/dramatic shots makes the story seem so much more real and believable.  This movie is incredible and it’s one of my favourites. If the americans are remaking it because people can’t deal with swedish subtitles, it’s their loss >_<  WHY ARE THEY REMAKING IT GO DIE
